In our world full of tension, painting is my meditation. I seek balance and harmony amidst the chaos that is our lives. The result is work that is luminous, serene and contemplative. I'm drawn to the drama of extreme light conditions, capturing the intensity and subtlety, ambience, mystery and richness of color that exist with those conditions.
My work has been exhibited all over the United States in both group and solo shows
and is in private collections across the country. I've received many awards and commissions including selection to appear in the book Best of California Artists and Artisans 2006 where I was awarded second place in the Acrylic Painting category.
